Studio
My studio is nestled in Bärschwil, a peaceful village about an hour from Basel. Surrounded by nature, it offers space for harmony, stillness, and focused creativity. It is also our family home, filled with love and the gentle rhythm of a slower life. We moved here not long ago, embracing a way of living that follows the cycles of nature and the seasons. Our young son often fills the studio with toys and laughter, weaving play into the process of creation. It’s a different way of working than before—no longer a separate space, but a living, breathing part of our daily life. Painting, creating, and gathering with others have become not just a practice, but a way of being—simple, honest, and deeply connected.
(DE) Atelier
Mein Atelier liegt in Bärschwil, einem ruhigen Dorf etwa eine Stunde von Basel entfernt. Umgeben von Natur entsteht hier ein Raum für Harmonie, Stille und konzentrierte Kreativität. Es ist zugleich unser Familienzuhause – erfüllt von Liebe und dem sanften Rhythmus eines langsameren Lebens. Vor nicht allzu langer Zeit sind wir hierhergezogen und lernen, den Kreisläufen der Natur und den Jahreszeiten zu folgen. Unser kleiner Sohn bringt oft Spielzeug und fröhliches Lachen ins Atelier, sodass sich das Spiel ganz natürlich mit dem Schaffen verbindet. Es ist ein anderes Arbeiten als früher – kein abgetrennter Ort mehr, sondern ein lebendiger Teil unseres Alltags. Malen, Gestalten und das Zusammenkommen mit Menschen sind heute nicht nur eine Tätigkeit, sondern eine Lebensweise – einfach, ehrlich und tief verbunden.
Painting the Inner World
Painting is the deepest thread of my expression. It is a way to reach the quiet layers of my subconscious, offering a precise language for emotions, thoughts, and places that exist beyond the surface mind. This connection has always been with me—even during more than a decade of working in corporate offices. Today, painting is no longer separate from everyday life; it is woven into it. Through dreaming, through the shamanic practice of envisioning a gentle, hopeful future, I explore gratitude, love, and creativity arising from the very fabric of my being.

Malerei ist der tiefste Ausdruck meines Seins. Sie öffnet den Zugang zu den stillen Schichten meines Unterbewusstseins und schenkt mir eine präzise Sprache für Gefühle, Gedanken und Orte, die jenseits des bewussten Geistes liegen. Diese Verbindung war immer da – selbst während mehr als eines Jahrzehnts in der Welt der Büros und Unternehmen. Heute ist die Malerei kein getrennter Teil meines Alltags mehr, sondern untrennbar in ihn verwoben. Durch das Träumen, durch die schamanische Praxis, eine sanfte und hoffnungsvolle Zukunft zu erahnen, entfalten sich Dankbarkeit, Liebe und Kreativität aus dem tiefsten Gewebe meines Daseins.
There is no other home than this
I paint spiritual landscapes that arise from playful visions at the edge of dreaming and waking. I work with natural pigments made from plants and minerals, inviting spirits of Earth to animate color and depth of each scene. These natural materials ground my work in the rhythms of nature, while the unrealistic motives reach toward the unseen anchored in the collective unconscious.
Together, they form a bridge between worlds, where the unseen can be felt and the soul can find a subtle sense of being home.

Ich kreiere spirituelle Landschaften, inspiriert von den spielerischen Visionen am Rande des Bewusstseins. In meiner Kunstpraxis verwende ich Trockenpigmente, die aus einer Vielzahl von Pflanzen und Mineralien gewonnen werden. Sie verbinden ätherische Szenen stärker mit der Erde, den Naturkräften und dem gegenwärtigen Moment.
Die Kombination von natürlichen Materialien und imaginative Motiven schafft eine Brücke zwischen dem Sichtbaren und dem Unsichtbaren und birgt möglicherweise, wenn man daran glaubt, ein heilendes Potenzial.
