Studio
My studio is part of our home, and my process is woven into the rhythms of motherhood. It is located in a remote valley in Switzerland, about a 40-minute drive from Basel, close to nature and far from the distractions of the city.
Atelier
Mein Atelier ist Teil unseres Zuhauses, und mein künstlerischer Prozess ist in den Rhythmus unseres Familienlebens eingebunden – voller gemeinsamer Kreativität. Es liegt in einem abgelegenen Tal in der Schweiz, etwa 40 Minuten von Basel entfernt, nah an der Natur und fern vom Trubel der Stadt.

Live. Love. Paint.
We moved here from the city a few years ago and renovated the ground floor of the house to create the atelier. It’s a spacious environment where I can comfortably work on large formats or several paintings at once. Our son, Eliot, has his own play area here and often becomes part of the creative process.
Integrating an art practice into family life is not always easy, but we manage it through ongoing negotiation and balance.
Leben. Lieben. Malen.
Vor einigen Jahren sind wir aus der Stadt hierhergezogen und haben das Erdgeschoss des Hauses zu einem Atelier umgebaut. Es ist ein großzügiger Raum, in dem ich bequem an großen Formaten oder mehreren Gemälden gleichzeitig arbeiten kann. Unser Sohn Eliot hat hier seinen eigenen Spielbereich und wird oft Teil des kreativen Prozesses.
Die künstlerische Arbeit in das Familienleben zu integrieren ist nicht immer einfach, aber wir schaffen es durch einen kontinuierlichen Austausch und ein gutes Gleichgewicht.

Closed Door Practice Policy
Once a week, I close the studio to visitors and fully immerse myself in the process. Part of this time is dedicated to an hour-long “journey”, a form of self-hypnosis where visions and images begin to surface. It’s a day for uninterrupted painting and for integrating the themes and questions that emerge.
Geschlossene Türen
Einmal pro Woche schließe ich das Atelier für Besucher und tauche vollständig in den Prozess ein. Ein Teil dieser Zeit ist einer einstündigen „Reise“ gewidmet – eine Form der Selbsthypnose, in der Visionen und Bilder entstehen. Es ist ein Tag für ununterbrochenes Malen und für die Integration der Themen und Fragen, die sich zeigen.
